Two lovely horses, one brown and one white, look in a 3/4ths turn at me with their bright blue eyes. Beneath their flowing manes they both have collars - one with 4 spades, and one with 3, adding up to 7. Behind them is a path through a purple field, winding back towards a little purple barn with a turret and lighted windows. The rolling hills beyond have a few pine trees, and plowed fields. The sun is purple and shining, the sky blue, and there are a few white clouds.
My husband came by and said the card was "looking" at him - interestingly enough, I don't get the same impression. The eyes of the horses are too far apart - I still get the impression of two, instead of one. However... I do get a sense of being watched. The two horses are calm and magnificent. Kept - they belong to the barn, as the collar shows - but not broken. I wonder if they are inviting me somewhere?
The pamphlet reads, "A Triumph" "A Breakthrough" "An Inventive Solution".
How interesting! I do see it - the horses are congratulating you in some way, or perhaps, they are YOUR horses, and you are riding in the chariot? The background being a farm makes sense to me too - what is farming, after all, but an inventive solution to the problem of getting enough food from the land?
This card may need more meditating yet, but overall, I like it quite a bit. And as a Major Arcana... I would be quite happy to draw this one! Inventive solutions are needed desperately, and by Jove, I plan to implement some in my own life as I go!
