Queen of Diamonds.
27 April 2021 12:17A woman, with closed eyes, holds a diamond coin in her right hand, with her left hand behind her back. Her golden hair flows down her back, slightly wavy. Her eyes are closed, and her skin is covered in tattoos. They are of nature - flowers, leaves, vines. Her bosoms are two blooming flower tattoos. Some of the flowers on her skin, too, are diamond coins. Around her bloom the same ornate flowers as the Jack of Diamonds had.
Despite the gendering, she is rather neutrally formed; her attitude is meditative, calm, content. The card is fully reversible.
The pamphlet reads "A Bond Between the Internal and External" and "Mastery, not Control, of Nature".
Meditating on this further, yes, I see it - now that I look closely, I see that the flowers and the tattoos blend into one another, halves of a whole. And Nature itself all but explodes off the page of this card, dense just as foliage can be. What a lovely card - what a thing to aspire to.
I will interpret this, in this moment, as acting externally in alignment with one knows internally to be true. I think that is why I am feeling positively towards this card, though no means perfectly aligned with it. This is my goal, not my location.
Honestly, I believe that today is my first concrete step along that path. Fingers crossed... and courage up.
